The cost of eating healthy may be the biggest barrier. Individuals with higher incomes reported higher consumption rates of fruits and vegetables. Weight was the obvious one, as those people with a lower body mass index ate more than people who were overweight or obese. Women beat out men by considerable margins in consumption rates.

I am so glad I don’t eat all that processed food anymore. Having my own garden and feeding my family from it has been very healthy for us.
